Street Art ist zweifellos ein wichtiger Bereich des künstlerischen Schaffens, insbesondere in Umgebungen, in denen freie künstlerische Ausdrucksformen eine Herausforderung darstellen und Street Art mit Risiken verbunden ist. Kommentar unserer Gastkünstler:in:

„Während meines Aufenthalts habe ich an einem Gemälde mit dem Titel „Another World“ gearbeitet, das auf einer Leinwand im Format 150:250 cm mit Acrylfarben und einer Airbrush-Technik entstanden ist. In diesem Werk greife ich das Thema der Kolonisierung anderer Planeten durch die Menschheit auf. Das Gemälde ist groß und detailreich geworden, weil ich meine Kreativität als Ganzes darin widerspiegeln wollte. Ich habe meine Lieblingswerkzeuge und -techniken sowie meine Entwicklungen der letzten Jahre verwendet.

Das Projekt wird durch zwei weitere Leinwände im Format 80 x 80 cm ergänzt. Dabei handelt es sich um die ebenfalls mit Acrylfarben und Airbrush gemalten Bilder „Inception“ und „Sunrise“. In diesen Werken setze ich das futuristische Thema der Schaffung neuer Welten fort.

Die Residency im MQ bot mir eine großartige Gelegenheit, meine Ideen zu verwirklichen und neue Eindrücke und Inspiration für weitere kreative Projekte zu sammeln. Ich möchte allen Organisator:innen und Sponsor:innen der Residency im Wiener MuseumQuartier meinen Dank aussprechen.

Street Art doubtlessly an important field of artistic creation, and this is especially true for environments where free artistic expression is a challenge, and street art risky. An artist comment:

“During my residency, I have been working on a painting called "Another World", which is executed on canvas 150:250 cm with acrylics using an airbrush. In this work, I raise the theme of mankind's colonization of other planets. The painting turned out to be large and rich in detail because I wanted to reflect my creativity in it as a whole. I have used my favorite tools and techniques, as well as my developments over the last few years.

The project is also completed with two more 80:80 cm canvases. These are two paintings also made with acrylic and airbrush "Inception" and "Sunrise". In these works, I continue the futuristic theme of creating new worlds.

The residency at MQ gave me a great opportunity to realize my ideas, as well as to get new impressions and inspiration for further creativity. I want to express my gratitude to all the organizers and sponsors of the Residency in Vienna's MuseumQuartier.”
